GREEDY OWNER DEMANDS MORE MONEY

We were booked at Shalimar Gardens over the December period. I made this booking in August already through Bookings.com. The owner contacted us 3 days before the booking and advised that he is doubling the rate and if we cannot pay then we do not need to come. This is appalling service and just plain greed!!! We have heard subsequently that the owner frequently does this and visitors then have no option but to pay the higher rate as accommodation during the busy period is very difficult to get.
