Pathetic customer service

I decided to change to Shackleton Life due to them offering me better benefits. What a disappointment this entire experience has been. I completed and signed all the necessary paper work in December 2019. I then received another document in January (8th) to be signed which I completed in December already. Sent that document through again. I then received the cancellation of my policy with SAHL around the end of January, beginning of February. I never received any further correspondence from Shackleton life since the beginning of January. I contacted Shackleton life on the 25th March 2020 needing assistance with my geyser that had packed up just before the lockdown started. I spoke to Don Naidoo. I was then advised by Don that they were still waiting for the cancellation policy from SAHL. I advised him that I received the cancellation confirmation of the policy in Jan/Feb already. I forwarded the cancellation confirmation of the policy to Don, Lucian and Charnelle. I called Don again. Don advised me SAHL told him that I had called them and they had already assisted me. From the 25th March until the 20th April, I received no feedback from Don, Charnelle or Lucian. I called Shackleton life on Monday morning on the 20th April 2020. I spoke to Lucian and then the manager Charnelle. Charnelle promised to follow up with me before close of business. I am still waiting to hear back from her. This entire experience has left a bitter taste in my mouth. I regret cancelling my policy with SAHL.
