DO NOT BUY GOODS FROM JP OF SHABBY CHIC WOODSTOCK

I met with JP and gave him a R1500 deposit after we discussed that he will make me a bench with specification(picture of legs whatsapped) and a dresser(picture supp**** and dimension) The deposit was given 1 December and delivery promised 24 December. I kept whatsapping JP asking for pics of progress but he never responded. He gave me false hope until 24 December with no bench and dresser made. He tried to do a rush job 24 December and offered an existing bench he had in his shop. When I demanded my money back I had to wait for it, drive up and down to Woodstock and had to wait some more until a deposit of only 1200 was made into my account. He advised that he made up the dresser eventually and had to sell it to pay me my R1500. To date he has only paid R1200 and advised that the shortfall payment of R300 is for defrayed expenses which was never communicated to me. He also promised he would pay the R300 after he got paid then changed his mind again and advised that his bookkeeper now said that he must not pay the R300. He also accused me of \cancelling"the unit which I never. He did not make the unit in time"
