Failure to register off-s**** company as promised while retaining funds

I have been attempting to register an off-s**** in Mauritius, with shareholding via an SA based (Pty) Ltd with ownership in a discretionally trust. I’d like to share my most terrible experience trying to do just this...

I have appointed SFM Corporate Services who insisted they could get this done within a few days. They confirmed this to me via separate persons and communications. Only to find they have no clue and not only wasted my time and money, over a period of > 3 months, but then only refunded me 60% of my up-front payment they insisted upon. The direct loss to me is > ZAR10 000.

SFM Corporate Services just “shrug" their shoulders and referred me to the “fine print” of their T&C’s, published somewhere on their website.

My experience is that SFM Corporate Services commit to services they can not render, are very slow to respond and then retain funds for no valid reason when they fail miserably to deliver as promised and expected.

I certainly would never, ever, recommend them to anyone.
