********* charges and supplies of medical compression stockings Sevenster Orthopedic Services

I was shocked to get snotty sms "Final Warning" about an outstanding amount owing to this company. After a popliteal Aneurism bypass recently my husband was fitted with a single medical compression stocking (Knee length only). We were told we had to take both stockings as thats how its supp****.

It appears Discovery Medical Aid did not pay for this we are obviously liable for the amount but why are we suddenly given a Final Warning after never having any correspondence from them and also why do we have to purchase BOTH stocking at an Exhorbitant price when we will only use one stocking. This is absolute exploitation and ********* practice and I feel the need to warn potential Patients of Sevenster Orthopedic Services. 2 years ago after my husband had his pacemaker, a similar thing happened with a sling he was given in hospital - he was still pretty sedated and they "Fitted " him with a sling that was really small and he couldn't use it anyway. We still ended up paying for it and also after a snotty Final Warning SMS. In future I will make sure we or anyone we know never use them for any similar items during or after surgery.
