Sevenseas Website vs communication
I am trying to ship my things from South Africa to Switzerland. Seven Seas went to collect the things in Springs SA. They keep emailing me telling me to log on my documents are wrong and when I do it says everything is perfect and 100% correct they now charging me storage yet REFUSE to answer my email about the so called error on documents. Also my kist they say is too heavy as it is 80kg. How are cars shipped across the ocean as they way more than 80kg? I understand if its going on a plane but this is going via the ocean. It does make it a little difficult that I am already in Switzerland but they have a contact in SA and they just not responding the service has been ridiculous.

07 Jul 2021, 10:07Dear Nicky,
Our website states, as well as our online quote system, as well as the quote that we sent you that we have a maximum weight of 30kg. This is in place to protect our drivers' from injury, it is also to protect the driver's operating the vehicles of our partners, in Switzerland in your case. Drivers do not pick up cars but you would certainly want them to pick up your boxes and move them to and from their vans.
You will need to make arrangements to have your shipment collected or we will deliver it to an address of your choice in Johannesburg and you can then make your own arrangements on how you wish to send your things. Until that time, storage will be incurred on your shipment.
UPDATE, July 8, we have now agreed with you to return your "kist" with some of our boxes so the contents can be transferred and repacked into our boxes for shipment.
Regards, Seven Seas Worldwide

Why was this not said on the telephone when my SA contact was called all that ever gets said is the documents need updating and the website says something else. Yes I am cross as I just wanted an answer on the documents issue and why the Kist was an issue didn't need sarcasm back. I asked in my ORIGINAL email with the quote that it was a Kist would this be a problem and nobody responded. I can not call from Switzerland as it is pricey that is why I rely on email. What is the issue with the documents? Just after the goods were collected someone did email and asked if they could empty the Kist and box the contents and just add the charges to the invoice and I said no problem they also spoke to my SA contact. Then about 2 weeks ago someone called and said if the Kist is under 30kg empty then it can go, but now with SA under Lockdown Level 4 Seven Seas can not do the unpacking and repacking it would need to be dropped off at the place it was collected and that person would need to box it and then advise Seven Seas when they can collect said boxes and they needed to weigh the Kist to ensure it was under 30kg, here again nothing happened after the call. I would just like some clarity. I have NO issue paying for the extra boxes but I have an issue paying for storage when things that are meant to happen are not happening.

Considering I get a response here.. could someone PLEASE tell me here or via email what is the issue with my documents.
I just received this via email:
Dear Nicolette Inez,Regretfully, we are still missing the necessary documentation and cannot make any progress with your shipment. We have no choice but to apply a weekly storage charge of ZAR231.72 including local taxes payable in advance until you have completed the documentation online. Failure to submit your documentation will result in further additional weekly storage charges.
I went onto the website and my documents say that it is 100% maybe I am doing something wrong but PLEASE could someone help. Also the storage does it go up weekly?
