Seven Seas Worldwide - Speechless about the Service we Got!!!!

We are so disappointed in Seven Seas World Wide. The worst part, beside the fact that we don't get any response from them for the past 14 days, that they had no clue in what financial difficulty they put us in.

When we decide to Immigrate from South Africa to New Zealand, we had a budget to bring furniture over. We got a quote of R120 000 for a 40FT container then the company would pack and unpack for us, but we could not afford it. So we decide to go with Seven Seas and bring just some of our furniture. We were not present when our furniture were loaded in the JHB Depot, we had to get a contractor to took our furniture to the JHB Depot. We original booked 2 Move Cubes, but then Seven Seas let me know that 2 were not enough and added another large Cube and a medium Cube for the boxes. According to my knowledge what I have done the paperwork for and according to Seven Seas there were 3 x large Cubes and 1 x Medium Cube. By this time, we realises that we should have taken a container.

When our first Cubes arrived in New Zealand - 2 x large Cubes and 1 x medium Cube, we realises that the furniture we did not received were too much for the last Cube. I immediately made contact with Seven Seas query about this missing stuff, but they reassure me over and over again that there is only 1 x Large Cube still in SA. I also made personally contact with a worker (Mbali) working for them at the Loading Depot. She also inform me that there is only 1 Cube. Even Tiaan at the SA Branch try to assist me, and also he inform me, that there is only 1 Cube in SA. Sadly we fought that our furniture were lost, cause they send us a picture of the inside of the last Cube in SA, and things like the tumble dryer, washing machine etc were not in that Cube.

At the end of the day we bought new appliances in New Zealand and new household items. Then out of the blue when the last Cube arrived in New Zealand, I Notice a new Job Number on our profile and I receive an invoice for this Job Number. I mail them immediately to inform them, that this is not our Cube. Soon Carl for the UK phone us, informing us that we have another Cube, who nobody knows about, and we have to pay for that Cube. We did not budget for that, and our house is already full, we had bought everything new, cause we fought we lost our stuff.

Carl give us a discount amount and we agree that we will try to raise the money as soon as possible as long as they are not charging us any storage fees. We went and borrow the money, cause after immigrating and shipping and have to bought new furniture, our cash flow took a serious knock.

Seven Seas did not chance the invoice to the agreed amount after almost 4 weeks, they also added late penalty charges. We struggle so sort this out for 2 weeks now. We have left many messages for Carl to phone us back, cause he is one promising us to sort out the late penalty charges. We send 2 emails with now response.....

Seven Seas World Wide - You almost financially ruin us. After we bought everything we assumed we lost, a Cube out of Nowhere appear. Without any paperwork or knowledge about it. Then again you are not keeping by your part of the agreement. We have a good mind to say....Keep that Cube. Actually we don't need it anymore. If we knew about it, we would not have bought everything all over again. Please come and look at my house and tell me, where do you think we must put everything?

We have to pay the price for your incompetence and after the last 2 weeks, I'm not sure that I want to anymore.
