Seven Seas Worldwide – ********* Billing & ******ion Tactics

I am appalled by the ********* and *****ulent billing practices of **Seven Seas Worldwide. This company is attempting to ****** an unjustified storage fee of ZAR3,748.78, despite the delays being caused by their*own inefficiencies and failure to provide clear instructions.

I am willing to make immediate payment for the agreed-upon charges excluding the disputed storage fee while this matter is under review by the relevant legal body in South Africa. However, Seven Seas Worldwide refuses to separate the charges, essentially holding my shipment hostage and demanding full payment—including the illegitimate storage fee—before they will proceed.

To make matters worse, they introduced new documentation requirements at the last minute, suddenly insisting on my wife’s passport details, which were never previously requested. This reeks of bad faith business practices and an attempt to create artificial delays to justify additional charges.

Their approach is nothing short of *************, forcing customers to pay fees they never agreed to under the threat of continued delays. I have escalated this to the **Consumer Ombudsman** and am prepared to take further legal action if necessary.

Beware of this company! They lure customers in with misleading quotes and then **inflate the price with hidden fees**, making it impossible to retrieve your belongings without paying more than what was initially agreed upon.

I strongly urge Seven Seas Worldwide to remove the unjustified charges immediately and process the payment for the correct amount.

Would not recommend this company to anyone! Avoid at all costs!

Hi Patrick,

Your chose our MoveCube service to New Zealand from South Africa, you had a 2-week period of free storage after the collection to allow all the shipping documentation and payment to be sorted out. Your MoveCube was collected on the 7th and despite 5 emails requesting that you start the documentation you did not look at this until the 20th, once day before storage starts to be invoiced. Storage is invoiced in advance. We suggest that it was only the threat of storage that made you look at the documentation.

You have reported us to the Consumer Ombudsman which we are responding to today and in your statement to the Ombudsman you concede that you did not look at our documentation until the 20th.

We operate a business centre to handle customer's questions and queries. It is open 24/7. Only once storage was app**** did you call and only once you started to speak to us were we able to assist you.

There is no evidence of IT issues as you suggest, our software handles thousands of customers every day, it would appear it was only your unfami****ity with the shipping documentation. If you had started the documentation when we requested, after the collection of your MoveCube, then the documentation would be complete, payment received for your shipment and your MoveCube would now be on its way.

Regards, Seven Seas Worldwide
