Unfair treatment
Hi, it’s been 3 years since I’ve moved in one of the bachelor flats, no one bothered to come and see the condition of the flat when I moved in, I even took it upon my self to to the cleaning and painting, I noticed the 2 plates from the stove were not working, the kitchen tap constantly dripping of water, the front door was so badly damaged from the rain that if anyone could kick it they would enter the premises, I notified the landlord and took a few pictures, the door was replaced in 2018 and soon after there was a break in, they took my electronics Tv, laptop and jewelry, I notified my landlord again and they told me to open a case, I saw it again upon me to install bugler doors, rent has to be paid in cash and their offices, never mind the safety of a person, 2 months back I was ******, and amount of R5000 and I told the landlord, little sympathy I got and on top of that my lights were cut off, come December the statements were released sometime the 20th, we had 2 weeks of unplanned power cuts to a point where we had stage 6 of load shedding, but when I saw the electric bill I was shocked, because I was going away on holiday and the 2 weeks that we never had electricity! Today my stove is still not fixed and the water is still dripping from the kitchen tap, no banking details were given, I have to take a day off work to pay because they open during the week between 7 and 11! I questioned why the electric bill was so high and no answer, but they are quick to cut the lights off and charge you for reconnecting! Something is not right, we pay for services that we don’t see, and a few people complained that if you move out you don’t get your deposit back, can someone help as we are trapped in a hellhole! If you need their contact details they are all over the Winchester Hills by Donna and Michael ***
