Mercedes-Benz W211 SBC pump recall & extended warranty

I've done some research into Mercedes Benz and their recall on their W211 E-class SBC pumps and further extending their warranty from 16 to 25 years. But so far I have been given the run around regarding getting my SBC pump sorted on my W211 E500 and told that I must pay. Not sure if the warranty is for Mercedes-Benz internationally or excluding South Africa. If I could get some insight into this?
