Remove "Serve" from your name

I messaged this company as a complaint on 11 March and have had no response whatsoever. The person who oversees the trolley services for Woolworths at Constantia Village in Cape Town is rude, argumentative, arrogant and a ****. We have a pet food collection station at the centre for which we have permission to use two Woolworths trolleys. Signage for these trolleys costs us around R300 and each year we put up fresh signage and/or seasonal posters. I personally placed new posters on the trolleys at the end of January this year. The trolleys are attached at their base to the Information kiosk and attached together - this is in an attempt to prevent shrinkage which we have experienced at the centre. On Tuesday 8th when I arrived in the afternoon to clear the trolley contents I discovered that both our trolleys had been removed and our signage was missing. I requested the security footage and found that Christian - the Servest Trolley "supervisor" had summarily removed our trolleys by untethering them and pushed them away at the change of security shift. One cannot see whether there was donated food in the trolleys when they were taken by Christian. When I approached him he simply said he had permission to remove them immediately stating they were empty. I had not raised any concern about any possible theft of food but this certainly made me concerned - why refute something that was not under discussion. Those trolleys have been in situ for over a year - there was no precedent to dictate their removal. When asked why he took them he simply said they had to be washed. He was reluctant to accompany me to Woolworths Management and was extremely arrogant and completely dismissive. When I verified with the Manager that the trolleys are there with permission and the Manager instructed him to return them. He eventually appeared with one of our trolleys bearing no signage but identifiable as it still had the cable ties attached. The trolley was not clean at all - it even had bits of food in it and had certainly not been cleaned as he had claimed. When I asked where the second one is he simply told me one is enough ! I went and retrieved a second trolley personally. I advised him that he owes our organisation R300 to cover the cost of posters. He laughed. He said it isn't his problem. Today when I went to collect food late in the afternoon he was hanging around at the trolleys and clearly eyeballing me in a challenge. I would appreciate this being attended to and the man in question's behaviour being addressed. I would also like to know what measures will be taken to ensure he does not repeat his behaviour. We are out of pocket for replacement posters - for now I have only replaced two and used two old ones for the ends as it is irresponsible to squander donor funds intended to prevent cruelty to animals on the misdeeds of errant third parties.
