Charging People R4 for dropping off at Oribi Airport

<p>I often drop off my son at Oribi Airport for the early flight from Pietermaritzburg to Johannesburg. I usually drive in, collect a ticket drop him off outside departures and immediately drive off. For this 1-2 minutes I am expected to pay R4. However, the last time I dropped him I was not charged. This morning when I dropped him I was charged. I was delayed by about 30 seconds while the attendant collected the fee from the car before me. On asking the attendant why I was being charged when I was not charged the previous time she told me that I was longer than a minute. How ludicrous is this - A WHOLE MINUTE OF RESPITE. Servest needs to be more practical and at least give 5 MINUTES of free parking to allow for delays like the one I experienced this morning. This is almost as bad as the new parking tariffs we have in the Pietermaritzburg CBD. I am going to publish this in the local community papers and the Witness.</p>
