Serta orthopaedic sa

<p>Hi all I brought a brand new Serta bed and base set at Dial n Bed Cape Gate on the 20th of February 2013 for R 6400.00 I was informed that it comes with n five year guarantee and ten years warranty. I was stoked about it coz it's one of those do not turn pocket coiled beds all the trimmings four months ago I found out that some of the wires on the side of the bed is broken and it cut my wife's leg open when she got of the bed. I called Dial n Bed to inform them that I'm having n problem with the bed and that it is still in the guarantee period, they then for the first time inform me that they do not carry the guarantee but Serta. They put me in touch with Serta Durban me calling them up and down eventually they inform me about n guarantee card that I was se pose to get from Dial n Bed witch I did not that the guarantee is only for 2 years and warantee for 10 but now they want me to fork out R2500 to have this bed fixed. Why is these big companies so full off hidden agendas . I still kept all documentation for guarantee purposes </p>
