bad business, lack of law knowledge

Unbelievably greedy, the landlord and myself (tenant) had a great relationship throughout my stay, I then lost my job and serenity trust rentals thought this is an opportunistic way of charging the tenant a placement fee for the new people taking over the lease - this is after I have pointed out it is ******* and that the landlord does not suffer any loss, the new tenant was placed within a week - however they put this surprise charge on me and said if I want to contest it I should do so legally and also that I would have to pay their legal fee's. Total disrespect and lack of justice to force me to pay something I never agreed to do. It shows what agencies are doing to stay afloat, but is dishonest and scrupulous behavior. I would not recommend doing business with sharks.
