Thank you for your feedback. Our prices are fair in comparison to the other salons in the area. What we do charge for though is for any additional work carried out namely nail art or freehand nail art and sculptured nails. One must also take into consideration the products that we use. All suppliers have increased their prices post covid. We had to,unfortunately increase our prices a bit as well. I do know a lot of clients come in with Pinterest pictures or pics on Instagram. We try to give them the exact replica. Unfortunately that is work that is carried out and sometimes more products or nail art used. It is also takes time to do these sets of nails. I took my mum here to do our nails her nail tech was uninterested and unprofessional with a lack of sense to work. She made the gelish on my mother's nails lumpy, uneven and couldn't understand how to create a proper nail art. My nail tech did not give me the proper arylic nail color I wanted even though I showed her a picture and advised me she had that specific color (nude brown) she blamed it on the lighting. Instead of clipping my cuticle she clipped my skin it began bleeding but still proceeded to work until it started bleeding into the aryclic nail, she apologized and I told her to please clean the area and disinfect it and she just wiped the blood with acetone. None of the tools she used on my nails were sterlized and I did not know this until my mother pointed it out that the cuticle clipper was used on her. My aryclic nails came out lumpy and with tiny bubbles. She also painted the clear top coat over the blood so now the blood is stuck in the aryclic. I am honestly dissatisfied with this service and only went to Serenity because of the 5 star reviews online. The 1 star is due to the fact it is women's day and they offered us cake with a drink (alcoholic/non-alcoholic). My experience from this is that if you are in Umhlanga try a more professional, reputed franchise,beauty company unless you prefer the unprofessional and lack of customer mixed in with a good dose of "salon politics".
