Not what I paid for!!!
Holiday to India We dealt with the agent face to face. Picked up our packs a month before the trip. On arrival our itinerary which the company gave us did not match the itinerary the Go India had. We were place in hotel rooms that were dirty. Without hot water and working facilities. We travelled through India to Mumbai were we were given a room that was as small as a shack. It had a nasty stench. The chairs were wet the carpet was wet. The room along with the building looked filthy. I called the agent to express my concerns and asked to call me back as I was making an international call via my cell. She didn’t return my cal. When I called the second time she simply said that I had the intinary (which didn’t match what India had) I must deal with it and cut the call on me. I was told in South Africa that I have access to a car which I had paid for but upon arrival in Mumbai the guy told me I’m not allowed to use the car I should take a taxi and find my way around. How does serendipity expect a foreigner to use a taxi in an unknown environment. It was myself and my mum. Two females who were left alone and received no help from our travel agent. I have traveled before. This is by far the most horrible experience. Our rooms had to be changed four times due to the uncleanliness of the hotels serendipity had booked for us.
