Senyati Safari Camp Torture Indigenous Wildlife to Boost Social Media Views!

Senyati Safari Camp / Lodge, located in one of Africa’s most pristine natural areas, masquerade as a conservation-oriented business but will happily torture indigenous wildlife to inorganically boost views on Instagram and Facebook. Instead of owning up when called out on their sociopathic behaviour, and embarrassing lack of judgement, they proceeded to remove all “negative” comments and block all the whistleblowers.

I’m sure this will be deleted once they see this review, but here is a link to the video. A live, mildly venomous (but effectively harmless) grass snake was misidentified as a boomslang, and held in place with snake tongs until it was dismembered by habituated mongooses. The video was then cropped conveniently, to make it seem like a natural interaction, but they have already posted the full video on Instagram (which I unfortunately can’t share the link to, as I have been blocked). This is no different to holding down an impala for a leopard, and recording the aftermath in order to boost views. If you have any interest in REAL conservation, I would avoid this place at all costs. They should be ashamed!
