Sentinel retirement fund claim

My name is Ucleaschia Borens but married as Cloete. My father passed on in 2018 and was working in the mine industry for more than 30 years. When he passed on sentinel retirement fund contacted us and gave us papers to put in a claim for the money that he left us. We gave in all our papers on may 2019 and they told us that everything is in progress. I ask for an advance on my money but they told us that it would delay the process. My father's ex-girlfriend also ask for an advance and she got it three times already but whenever me and my brother ask for an advance they would always say it would delay the process. It's 7 months now and we still did not receive anything. I feel that it is unfair that sentinel only helps my father's ex-girlfriend and that she is the only one that is receiving money at the moment I send the treasurer and email (Bronwyn at sentinel za.com) but she never responded to my email to explain to me what's going on. Me and my husband are both unemployed at the moment and we have children that we need to take care of.
