no consultant available

my husband was retrenched at the end of September, we went to the offices on 7 October and were told that a consultant would contact us. over 3 weeks later no consultant available, despite numerous phone calls. i know we are not the only ones being retrenched but surely somebody should be able to help within a month!! what of the people desperate for the pension payouts?
