I have my bag ****** out of a trolley while shopping , when I noticed it I went to the security at the door to report the theft, she then called for assistance over het walkman for someone to come and assist with a situation, a security gard came with the name of Thebelo, walking slowly towards me, I told het what happend and at that moment my husband that was woth me called me and said he found my bag in aile 5 in a trolly, I told the security that my husband got the bag but there is stuff missing from the bag. I rushed over and the security just following slowly, I asked for footage of the camera to see who's trolly it was and she just walked up in the aile looking for things on the ground, I then asked again I would like to see the cameras O want to know whos trolley it is she just walked on. I then decided to go and ask dor the camera footage myself. I asked another security who is in charge. Thinking when there is a situation the who ever in charge would know about the situation did not know anything about what just happend. I told him everything and ask to see the camera footage. He went into a room (without me) telling me he will be back. After 5 minutes he came back with another security, gard just told me the person just swiched my bag into his trolly went into aile 5 through out my bag, took what he wanted and left. And if I want the footage I must speak to the owner. I never got to see the footage The theaf got away with cards that is tap-able with money on, my power bank that cost me almost r1000. Security asked me what must they do... I think you must do your job, react when there is a customer in need, why do a security job of you do not react to a situation. Bad guy's get away and security just pull up their shoulders. Due to this situation with no help at all I an my whole family will not support Checkers at MIMOSA Mall Bloemfontein ever again and I will spread this absolutely poor reaction and service wherever I go for as long as I am capable. This is unacceptable for a security to now react when a situation is taking place.
