ABUSE IS ABUSE # SELLY PARK COVENT PRIMARY

I visited my sister Khumo in Rustenburg last week, and she was under a lot of stress from this school called Selly Park Convent (Primary) where her son is attending grade 5. Apparently there are a lot of issues that are going on between the teacher, child, principal and the parents that goes unresolved and they are not happy especially this year in particular.

It happened that a Onthatile (son) was labelled a ******* by a classmate who happens to be a girl on Tuesday last week and the matter was reported but nothing has been done. The girl is so abusive and bully toward Onthatile and even if the formal processes are taken by the parents and the child to report the matter nothing is being done. This is bullying and should a boy child retaliate to this girl child it will fall under statistics of women abuse in South Africa even though it is reported. The principal just called in the kids and told Onthatile that he should tell the parents that he "misheard" her. That is the only action took by the principal and the teacher, of which it is not satisfactory. Abuse is Abuse and Selly Park must FALL
