Suspicious delay tactics in refunding deposit

<p>We made an offer on a repossessed property through Sellmore Homes, but decided to withdraw the offer after a few weeks. After submitting the necessary withdrawal information and request, they took a month to refund our deposit. I had to keep following up and they kept making poor excuses thereby delaying the refund of the deposit. I would advise caution when dealing with them. Ask for proof that an offer has been submitted. Also check that the property hasn't been sold in the meantime without them notifying and refunding you. Although they eventually refunded the deposit, their behaviour made me suspicious and made me think the whole thing could possibly have been a con to draw interest on the deposit. </p>
