Concerned selling expired food products

Complaint: Mr Price Selling Expired Jungle Oats Energy Bars

Dear Hello Peter,

I would like to raise a serious complaint regarding Mr Price selling expired Jungle Oats energy bars to customers.

I recently purchased a Jungle Oats energy bar from Mr Price and discovered that the product had already expired. I find this extremely concerning, as customers trust retailers to ensure that the food products they sell are safe and within their expiry dates.

Selling expired food products is unacceptable and could potentially put customers’ health at risk. I am disappointed that such a product was available for purchase and would like Mr Price to investigate how this happened and take the necessary steps to prevent it from happening again.

I would appreciate a response from Mr Price regarding this matter, including what action will be taken to address the issue and ensure that expired food products are removed from their shelves.

I hope this complaint will be taken seriously, as customer safety should always be a priority.
