Bad workmanship

After a small incident where I damaged the front fender, my Insurance Company sent me to Stellenbosch Panelbeaters to do the repair. A very small repair that should be easy to do but instead I received my car back where you can clearly see the bad workmanship. When I point out the faults, they, instead of accept the fact that their work is not up to standard, do a blame shift by accusing the Insurance Company as if they do the actual repair. My insurance company decided that I can take the car to another Panelbeater to do the work but before we could make the appointment, Stellenbosch Panelbeaters contact me with a lot of apologies and I decided to give them another chance and take the car back to them. This decision of mine I dearly regret. After the second time when I collect my car I've been promised that if anything else is not to my satisfaction I must return the vehicle and they will issue me with a car and all the empty promises. Got home and guess what? Now there is a new problem . Nothing was wrong with the doors paint but now the paint sealer after blending in is not properly done. After sending a photo and reception confirmed receiving it, they decided to ignore it. My insurance company Outsurance once again came to my rescue and they decided to refer me to another company to do what is supposed to be done in the first place - Good Workmanship. I suggest that who ever needs to do panel beating play safe and let you insurance company refer you to someone else but not Stellenbosch Panelbeaters.

With reference to the previous review this is a follow up. BE WARNED - DO NOT USE STELLENBOSCH PANEL BEATERS FOR BODY REPAIRS. I finally got my car back yesterday from a more reputable panel beater who done the rectification on my vehicle Honda Civic. After a long wait (8 days and it was worth the wait) I received the car in a mint condition. It was clear that Stellenbosch Panel beater do not respect clients property. They work for not even a full 4 days on my car for the initial repair. And this said it all. A small incident ends up in a big rectification. The most up setting thing is the fact that my car is just 18 months old with 21000km on the clock and to rectify the mess it was necessary to do the fender and the front door all over again plus the back door. 18 month old and almost the whole one side to be redo, This just because Stellenbosch Panel beater messed up with their line up and the blending from fender over to front door and when they try to rectify their mess they further messed up so close to the end of the front door underneath the handle that it was necessary to do the back door also. Then also the spray mist (silver paint) on boot spoiler (black) needs to be polish out. It seems that they do not even care by covering the car while in spray shop. The line up of the fender was probably done by someone who clearly do not care, Even a blind person will pick it up. Thanks to my insurance company who came to my rescue. I will request them as well as Honda SA to s**** Stellenbosch Panel beaters from their authorised Honda repairer.
