WITHHOLDING INFORMATION JUST TO GET SALES

<p> </p> <p>I received a call in October from one of your agents offering me an upgrade deal on my Telkom contract (smart internet 500mb) that I had which was expiring in December. She told me I qualify for an early upgrade which included a 1gig + huawei wifi modem for only R89 pm. She told me I would be charged pro rata on the 1st invoice and will also pay for the previous contract subscription and there after will be charged R89 pm. That was tye terms I was told..It seemed like a good deal which I took. On Friday I got my invoice from telkom and to my surprise I was charged a migration fee of R400+ which I didn't understand because as far as I'm concerned I was upgrading and i shouldn't be charged to upgrade. I then called telkom to enquire and I was told I migrated from 500mb to 1gig..I totally get this but my anger comes from the fact that I wasn't told this by the agent who called me because I wasn't gonna go through with the deal. I don't have such money. </p> <p>It's frustrating that your agents withhold critical information just so they can get sales, to me that's misrepresentation and I'm glad your calls are recorded. You can go through the call and you'll hear I never consented to the migration fee as I wasn't told about this.</p> <p>Right now I don't even want this contract anymore as its costing me more that I was told. Can you please sort out your agents and also do something about this migration fee and the contract all together. I don't want it anymore. </p>
