************ marketing: Selling Telkom Data Contract

On the 5 Dec I was called by a salesperson who thanked me for handling my Telkom so well and that they have a great special for me that will provide a better data service to me with a Huawei pocket WiFi router. The deal sounded good because I needed a WiFi router as my phone usually is used as a WiFi hotspot and loses its battery life quite quickly. I made a few calls a week later to find out where is my router but I could not get through Sell Direct. Eventually I got a message from Courierit on the 12 Dec to say they couldn't deliver my parcel and I should call them, which I did and then made alternative arrangements. This failed to materialise as the courier driver called me just before we could close up the office to say he is running late. I eventually made arrangements to collect it myself from their depo which I did on Friday 15 Dec. It is now the 20 Dec and even after more than 20 calls to Sell Direct on ********** 500 and their direct number on their website I still can't get any of my calls answered to activate my SIM. I called Telkom to see if they could help and they directed me back to Sell Direct Marketing. I have a problem with both Telkom for sharing my contract and banking details to marketing companies and i have a huge problem with Sell Direct Marketing posing as an extension of Telkom because they have all my contract and banking details! They have misled me into believing that they are providing me a more enhanced service with Telkom. But it seems they are NOT Telkom. I have now sought legal advise on the matter as I feel Sell Direct Marketing made false promises of delivering my product within 3 days and activating my SIM within 72 hours. I have not been able to raise them on their numbers ever since I made my enquiry on the delivery of my product. I am not prepared to be in a contract with a supplier that can't even answer my calls let alone be able to provide me with a backup service if I have a problem. This is the worst experience I have had with any company this far.
