*****STERS & ****MERS
TELKOM BILLING BIGGEST *****STERS!!! **** CONTRACTS!!! 20GIGS ONCE-OFF ****!!! THE MOST HORRIBLE SERVICE THAT ONE IS CAHRGED FOR SOMETHING THEY ARE NOT EVEN AWARE OR MADE AWARE OFF. WHEN YOU ASK WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN SPEND LIMIT AND OUT OF BUNDLE NO ONE ASSIST. I WAS TAKEN FROM PILLAR TO POST THANKS TO GIOVANNI SMUTS WHO REALLY TRIED TO GET THIS SORTED AS HIS DEPARTMENT DID GIVE US A 20 GIG ONCE-OFF AS WE UPGRADED ONE PHONE BUT, TO MY SURPRISE I GET BILLED FOR THAT DATA. TELKOM IS A **** IF ONE CAN SEE THE BELOW EMAIL THREAD FROM MYSELF TO THEM NOTHING HAS BEEN RESOLVED THAT THEY BLOCKED MY NUMBER BEFORE MONTH END AND NOW THEY STATE IT IS BECAUSE I DIDN'T PAY AN INVOICE THEY ARE BUSY WITH. TOTAL ******* PLEASE DONT TAKE ANY CONTRACT BECAUSE THEY WILL AGREE TO THINGS YOU HAVE NOT AGREED FOR AND STATE YOU HAVE SAID YES WHICH IS A LIE.
THE SPEND LIMIT IS SET TO R0.01 EACH AND EVERY BEGINNING OF THE MONTH AND FOR IT TO INCREASE, ME THE CUSTOMER HAS TO AGREE TO IT BUT, DOESN'T ALLOW ME TO GO ABOVE R200.01 WHICH I HAVE PROOF USING THE TELKOM WHATSAPP PORTAL. NOW THEY CLAIM I HAVE AGREED THAT MY SPEND LIMIT TO BE ABOVE R1250 WHICH DOESN'T ALLOW FOR ME TO DO THAT. TELKOM PLEASE TERMINATE THE CONTRACT AND LEAVE ONE ACCOUNT OPEN FOR SAMSUNG A34 AND CANCEL THE BILLING FOR THE IPHONE. THE INVOICE IS INCORRECT
YOU ARE *****S!!!

Please elaborate on the spend limit as it is only giving me R200 extra not more or less, when I use the Telkom portal on WhatsApp I cannot increase my spend limit over R200. Even though it states we have R1500/ R1950 on my iPhone I still cannot get over R200 for that spend Limit. Therefore, I dispute that because I haven't given any consent that I do agree for a spend limit to be over the R0.01 limit that is set already which only I the customer can increase up to R200 only.
Kindly advise who, how, when and how did I/Yourselves as the company agree to the spend limit to be over R200 because I am fami**** with the spend limit.
Please note I do have proof that the spend limit doesn't allow me to go over R200 and every single month it is set to be on R0.01 and I have to increase it and give consent that I agree that they will bill me at the end of the month.
Your swift response will be highly appreciated.
Thank You

Hi Giovanni
The below is feedback from Telkom
Good day
Please note that the 20GB once of data was loaded to the customer account and it expired on the 28th of September 2023 ,so the reason the invoice is so high it is because the customer is serving the out of rate bundle and using the spend limit. Customer is liable to pay the charges.
Kind Regards Phillipine Madikane TM-SOC Billing Specialist Tel: 081 180

Good day Giovanni,
Hope this email finds you well.
May you kindly advise what they mean by "If" as I am sure that for every new contract taken there is twenty gigs allocated, if not then I did not agree to be charged for the data that was given as a once-off.
Kindly contact me on ********** for clarity I don't have my cell phone with me.
Your prompt response will be highly appreciated.
Thank You

Good day
Please see feedback below
Will provide updated feedback once received
Hi Giovanni
If the 20GB once off bundle was allocated once activation was done then the addition fees charged was a value added service the client used .
I will find out by Telkom if the data was allocated
Regards
Abdul

May you kindly give me the call recording whereby I agreed to the spend limit to be R1500 and please note I have went to the store and they asked me to contact you what is with this back and forth please check the call recording that you have with myself and Akitha Jacobs where I did ask about the billing of the month end and She confirmed on the call that the invoice will be way less as there is only one phone for R435 and a once-off twenty gigs which you charging me for whilst you said Its free but now the invoice shows that R1200 and odd rands has been charged for that twenty gigs

Please note that telkom has created a portal using a whatsapp number that we can text and get assisted with the adjustment of the spend limit which is automatically set to be on R0.01 each and every beginning of the month with a maximum spend limit up to R1500 on the Samsung A34 and R1950 on my Iphone. I set it every month on my Iphone to R200.01 and if I ask for R201.01+ it gives an error message sending me a text on my phone starting that my spend limit has been adjusted to R200.01 and has never allowed me to exceed R200.01. where on earth do you get that the spend limit can only be adjusted at the store whilst it is set on my whatsapp and I demand the recording you claim you have whereby I was advised to go to the store after "agreeing" to the spend limit automatically adjusting itself to R1500 and me to go and adjust it at the store.
Your prompt response will be highly appreciated.

I received a call recording today, the call explains that I have agreed to a new contract which is for R435 as my new monthly fee and the spend limit to be adjusted at the store or any self portal for Telkom which I did Adjust the spend limit to R200.01 as it is set for a temporary spend limit each and every month for R0.01 and only I can change it on the portal.
Now yesterday you were quick to tell me that this can only be changed at the store which is false.
I want the money you debited back into my account as the call recording I have for Akitha Jacobs and my mom says the contract is under the same terms and conditions as the previous contract but now how is it the same when I am charged triple my usual invoice.
This is taking too long to be resolved if you cannot give me a clear yes or no I will have no option but to use other means to resolve this.
