sim not active and phone never get answered

I bought a cell phone via Telkom mobile, it was delivered by selldirect but now I cant get the sim card activated after I was promised by the call centre agent that it will be activated within hours. its now 3 days later and the sim is still not active. worse I have been calling them for this 3 days but their phone is never answered. what a useless service I should have remained with cell c atleast they solved queries and attended their phones.
