Sell Direct Marketing cancels your number

I was due for an upgrade with Telkom. Sell Direct Marketing contacted me and a lady called Geneve sold me a new contract package. However Geneve **** to me in order to get the sale. She told me that my package will include a Samsung J1 phone to which I agreed. Geneve specifically told me that me that the contract will only be activated once I put the new sim in the new phone. However Sell Direct migrated me to the new contract and cancelled my current number even before I had the time to open my delivered package and check contents. On 13 September 2016, I received a Samsung J1 Ace neo – this is the mini version of the Samsung J1. I specifically told Geneve that I do not want a mini type phone.

As I was in the 5 day cool off period I called Sell Direct and spoke to Tashrick the following day from delivery. I cancelled the deal as they could not provide me with the promised phone Samsung J1. He told me on 14 September 2016 that that it will take 14 days for my number to be migrated to Pre-paid and that I will be without service until then. However was very forward in blaming me for not having cellphone service as he said that if I did not cancel then I would be ok. Thus trying to force me into using a phone that was incorrectly supp**** by Sell Direct. At no time was I allowed to speak to a manager.

It has been 3 weeks and my phone number is still out of service. I have received a bill from Telkom for the contract that was cancelled even though all goods were returned and no usage had taken place on the contract.

Please this is a plea to everyone out there do not do business with Sell Direct Marketing. Their staff are dishonest and Geneve and Tasricks manager support their dishonest behaviour.
