Poor business practice

I was contacted by Sell Direct Marketing a day before Black Friday and offered an extension of my existing telkom data contract (20+20Gb) by a very friendly lady at a good price (R269, currently paying R399.) I accepted the offer. The next day telkom was offering the same online for R199. When contacted by the friendly SDM lady I informed her of the Telkom offer. She then very rudely insisted that Telkom does not have such an offer. I disagreed and requested she contact me again after one hour after I have seen a Telkom representative. She never called. At telkom they verified the online deal of 20+20Gb for R199. Telkom insisted that Sell Direct Marketing would take a few days to process their application and I should not worry. On the monday I attempted to contact SDM to cancel my application with them as the nice lady earlier confirmed there is a 10 day cool down time. Only got automated response. On Tuesday I attempted to contact them with same result. Late Tuesday they delivered a device. Please come fetch your device as I would like to enforce my right to cancel within 10 days. Thank you.
