NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH SELLDIRECT: PATHETIC
This company must be closed down, they are misleading and have no accountability at all. They decided to activate my sim card without my consent and it automatically blocked the one I was using. I lost business, money and left with unhappy clients as I was out of my home province and could not connect to meetings. Called in requesting my contract to be cancelled and they must pick up their device and that was within the cooling off period, after numerous calls still no assistance. Mr Randall Muller (Dispute Officer) tells me pay the cost of the phone, not even an apology for their breach of contract. PATHETIC SERVICE, NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH SELLDIRECT. Their data was not even what we agreed on, was promised 1.5GB but only received about 800mb. I WANT THIS CONTRACT TO BE CANCELLED ASAP AND THE DEVICE TO BE COLLECTED

Before the process starts it is important to keep a few facts in mind:
- Upgrades are activated automatically upon confirmation of delivery unlike Additional and New lines which require a call before activation may take place, meaning you received a call in 2016 when we delivered your Huawei Y5II because it was a new line but did not this time because the number was being renewed.
- Upgrades are activated on a new sim card unless the client requests that it be activated on their existing sim card, this is because of changes in device sims sizes, damaged might have occurred on your old sim card, etc.
- Your line went active in the middle of the month which means you received pro-rated benefits and your bill will be pro-rated from the date of activation
- When you called in to dispute the transaction (18/11/21), you were already outside the cooling off period which is calculated from the date of delivery (12/11/21)
Cancellation may still take place however considering the facts above we will not be able to facilitate cancellation without early termination fees as the contract is outside the cooling off period.
You can expect a call back during the course of the day to talk through your options and find resolution.
Kind Regards,
SDM Team
