Indifferent attitude

On the 28th of July, I got a call from Selldirect offering me an upgrade on one of my contracts with Telkom. They subsequently delivered all the devices the had promised with the last one being delivered on the 6th of September 2017. They immediately disabled my ********** 375 line they had upgraded. However, the SIM card was not activated. I contacted Abdul-Gamiet Adams, the team leader and his responses were not instant, when he eventually did, he told me the SIM card was active and asked that I take it out and insert it again, which I did, to no avail. Calls to their call centres were all in vain. I got to talk to machines which not only wasted my time but my airtime as well since no one ever picks. After several emails, Abdul-Gamiet admitted that there was something wrong with the sim cars and they eventually sent me another one one the 27th of September. They called on me on the 2nd of October but I was in the bank and couldn't take a call. Since then all efforts to get in touch with them to activate my SIM card have been in vain. They billed me for the account that was not active from the 6th of September. Abdul-Gamiet's direct line rings and no one picks up the calls. ********** . He's the team leader.

Thank you for informing us of your query.

Your upgrade initially failed due to a faulty sim card, we ordered and delivered a new sim card which needs to be replaced on your current line.

Your sim swop will be active within the hour, you can expect a call back from one of our consultants to ensure the sim swop went through successfully.

Please accept our sincerest apologies for any frustration caused.

Kind Regards,

SDM Team

Best regards,
