DUPED BY SELL DIRECT
Near the end of my previous contract with Telkom, I was being phoned and phoned and phoned to upgrade by what I thought was Telkom.
A lady, named, Eliza (not sure), told me I would be getting a Huawei P8 lite with lots of talk time, data, etc for R179 per month. AND that I would be getting 10 gigs per month for the first three months as a freebie.
I asked her again and again are you sure it is only R179 and she said yes.
And I asked her again and again if I will really be getting the 30 gigs and she said yes.
Well, i got the package from a company called Sell Direct, which I thought was a delivery company for Telkom.
Because I was under the impression I am talking to Telkom all the time.
That was about 25 January, plus/minus.
In February I got an account to be paid for nearly R300!!!!!!!!!!!!!
What I cannot afford!!!!
Plus I did not get my 30 gigs.
I had to complain on FB and on Telkom Community website and I went into the Telkom store and I phoned several Telkom agents on 180.
i was given the run around.
NOBODY got back to me on this. Not Telkom or Sell Direct.
Every day I ask for a detailed balance statement.
Eventually yesterday I saw that now I have been given the 30 gigs.
But I am still stuck with an account of nearly R300.
How is that possible?
Sell Direct has really made me a very miserable Telkom customer.
Telkom also did not assist me.
I am not happy at all.
And all of this in my first two weeks of my new upgraded contract.
NEVER AGAIN
