Bad customer service
I received a delivery a month ago and they didn’t register my SIM card. I called Telkom to register the upgraded simcard and they sent to me call sell direct. Oh my goodness hell awaited for me. The supervisor I assume Fatima was rude didn’t even thank me for holding and told me that they can’t assist. This is the first time being told I need to go to Telkom shop to register a SIM card. Also telkom agents are rude and they didn’t assist. I regret my 2nd upgration with Telkom

14 Apr 2023, 15:11Good day,
Thank you for notifying us of your complaint.
We see when you spoke to our consultants you advised them that your old sim card was no longer operational. Please understand that Telkom, in an effort to eliminate *****, now requires customers to go in store for sim swops. This is because the client must first pass biometric security checks before a sim swop can be processed, these checks cannot be done over the phone.
Sim Swop ***** is the number 1 way ******** gain access to your personal accounts. We understand that this is on occasion inconvenient but it is ultimately in the client's best interest.
Please go to your nearest store for a sim swop and please bring along your original ID to streamline the process.
Kind Regards,
SDM Team
