STAY AWAY FROM THIS BUSINESS - 10 RUST STREET YZERFONTEIN

<p>We booked a weekend away in Sep 2016 and decided to stay at this place. We were charged the rate per night plus a refundable deposit of R1500 plus R350 for cleaning. Initially we didn't mind because the rate per night was reasonable. We left the place as we had found, barring for some dishes that needed to be cleaned - we after all were paying a cleaning fee!! When we asked for our deposit back, we only received R1200! the agent and owner claimed that one of the blind needed to be repaired. We did not touch the blinds - they were old and worn anyway! We contacted the agent - Lotar CC/Sellaproperty to ask why we were shortpaid and he then told us this story about the blind - but only after we had ask. He was not upfront and did not check the place while we were still there. We then told him it was unacceptable and if they were not going to refund in full, I will be left with no choice but the report this bad way of doing business. I will never stay at this place again NOR deal with Schalk or this agency - I suggest no-one deals with him or the owner of 10 Rust street Yzerfontein. THEY ARE CHEATS!</p>
