False advertising, being **** to by sales dept

I was told over the phone (by Suresh Babunandan) on multiple occasions that any complications with my girlfriend's pregnancy would be covered with no waiting period if I signed up with Self Med and in fact that there was no waiting period at all for people under 35 (my girlfriend is 21). After spending hours of effort filling out all their excessive forms and finding and getting all the documentation to them they (Christell van Schalkwyk) come back to me and tell me that it will not be covered as there will be a 3 month waiting period for unexpected PMB procedures (which they are able to waive but are refusing to in this case).<br> <br> This is contrary to everything I have been told up until this point and now it is too late for me to receive cover from another provider in time for the birth (mid December).<br> <br> This is patently ridiculous and I advise that anyone on the fence and thinking about using Self Med should rather go elsewhere as they lie directly to you and clearly have no integrity and poor business ethics.
