Dear Mr Abdul,

With reference to your complaint, please note the Scheme's response. The account in question was received while the hospital authorisation wasn't finalised, due to outstanding information and therefore rejected. A statement was sent to the member to advise of the rejection 31 July 2016. The 1st enquiry pertaining to the rejected account was received on 19 November 2016. The account was referred for processing and was settled with the Scheme's claims run, 30 November 2016. To ensure speedy processing of accounts, members should query rejections on statements immediately.

please note that this statement you are making to cover your tracks makes no sence as we did not recieve any rejection letter via email regarding any of this... the first that we heard of such a thing was november 2016 when we recieved a letter for payment via post... please lets not waste time here and lets sort this issue out with company owed...or else we will be changing our medical aid company.
