Don't even deserve 1 star

While searching for a new vehicle for my wife and I came across Select Auto in goodwood... offering a Black BMW 320i EXCELLENT condition.

3rd gear shudders - as if misfiring. There is a metal on metal s****ing sound while driving at 30kph. Service light is on - but no book says serviced 3000km ago???

NOTE: They told me "We've just received the car, didn't know about these problems, so will fix them ASAP"

I since found another car, and courteously asked them to update their ads with the problems they found, or correct them.

Lo-and-behold... two weeks later, I called to follow up - posing as a customer - and nothing has changed, car is in Excellent condition... and I quote "we've done nothing to the car since we got it" (As I obviously asked if they fixed or did anything to the car).

DON'T TOUCH SELECT AUTO ... YOU WILL HAVE NIGHTMARES WITH OMBUDSMAN AND CONSUMER PROTECTION WHEN PROBLEMS ARISE ...

And all they have to say to cover their backsides is "I didn't know" ... BUT THEY DO KNOW. They will lie to you, don't trust them.
