SELAH Properties - Rental deposit *****

I have recently used SELAH Properties as rental agents for 1 bedroom apartment in Boksburg/ Golden Oaks Complex (from June 2018 to September 2018).

I made the necessary payments required before I could occupy the apartment as per agent's procedure, I had to start cleaning from showers to kitchen units down to wardrobes due to the bad state of the apartment, I also took pictures before. No checklist was completed as per procedure.

During my evacuation I took the initiative to clean the apartment, again no checklist was completed afterwards.

I then received an incomplete refund of my deposit, no one explained the whereabouts for the outstanding amounts until I started questioning, I was then informed that the property repairs done including cleaning was the reason to this, I then tried challenging this and up to today my outstanding balance is still not paid.

I have tried resolving this matter with them and no formal update or feedback is being issued to me.
