Break in at Seepedjie Guest House - Owers dont care

<p>We stayed at the Seeperdjie Guest House in Patenorster in June 2017. The renting agent was useless, they explained to us how the alarm works at their office and the info given was wrong. On our second night, ******* invaded the house, they covered the alarm beams and broke our front door, they got into the house and stole some items. They wielded a knife and and threatened us and later left. We rang the national police number and it took some time before the police could locate the place. While waiting for the police, we actrivated the alarm panic button more than five times. No one showed up from the alarm company. The alarm guy came at the same time with the police and claimed they hadnt heard anything. After the police left, we called the agent. Of all people on earth, she sent a door repair man to put an anti door jam mechanism at the door. They promised to come and they never did. Needless to say, we couldnt spend another night in this place. We checked out, dropped the keys in a ***eon hole at the agent office and left. To date, the owner refuses to refund us. I am very disaapointed with this and I seriuosly suspect collusion between the agents, the ******* and the alarm company. Who knows, the owner may even be in on it, getting money for nights that no one spent in their guest house. Please people, avoid this guest house, you will loose your life over valuables, i suggest staying in bigger places like hotels. Isolated guest houses are a target. And the owners are not very nice people.</p>
