Beware of this company!

<p>I rent out accommodation at a well known establishment. I received a quotation request from Seek & Travel in April 2016, to which I responded. I received a reply stating that they have received the quotation, but that it was not a confirmed booking. I never heard anything more from them.</p> <p> </p> <p>I received a frantic call from the guest this evening (15 August), stating that she has paid for her accommodation (all but R600) and is battling to get hold of Julian (her contact at S&T) and she was trying to confirm her accommodation for 19-21 August.</p> <p> </p> <p>I tried calling the number provided, but only got through to a garbled voicemail (very unprofessional) and looking at the e-mails this guest forwarded to me, his e-mail were very poorly and unprofessionally written.</p> <p> </p> <p>As I am writing this, I see Julian rep**** (to my e-mail to him earlier this evening), advising the guest that, because of her late payment, the accommodation is no longer available! He has offered her a refund, but that remains to be seen. Hopefully this review will assist her with the refund.</p> <p> </p> <p>The point is that the money was taken from the guest with this "travel agency" never once confirming the booking with me. The guest is due to arrive in 4 days and now has to try to arrange a refund and look for alternative accommodation. TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE.</p> <p> </p> <p>If you are going to book with a travel company, rather go with one of the well known companies like Booking.com (or deal directly with the establishment).</p>
