no refund as promised

We booked accommodation for December. Then i saw lots of other negative complaints from them on hallo Peter. And decided to rather cancel than to pitch December with no place to stay. They promised refund from the 13 july and said it will be in today. Still nothing...... are they for real? Ive got all documentation of promises and sorry about delay with only new promises. Will defnitly take legal action now!!
