Not trust worthy

I have had a very bad experience with sedgfield classic cars

In June 2023 I purchased a car from Sedgfield Classic cars. I was promised that the car had a road worthy certificate and was in a very good running condition. Although the payment for the car was made in June the car was only delivered to me in August.

When I received the car I realized that it was not running all that well and took it to my own car mechanic. After a full inspection he phoned me back and told me that there is no way the car is road legal.

The brakes were shot, lights didn’t work and that there has been messed with the leaf springs.

I immediately phoned Sedgfield Car Company. They agreed to take back the car and reimburse me. After months of fighting and always getting bad excuses. I went to see them at the car dealership yesterday. I reinspected the car and found that the lights work now but the breaks still don’t work. I couldn’t inspect the leaf springs because I was told that they don’t have a lift then later the mechanic came out and said unfortunately we can’t put it on a lift because there is another car on the lift. The experience has been very bad and I still have not received any payment.
