Shocking Service
I have handed my Umarex .50 Cal Pistol in for repairs to the Durban Gateway Branch over 3 months ago for a simple repair. The friendly staff continue make excuses which I find lame and unacceptable. The Pistol immediately discharges all the gas after firing the first round. I have taken the Pistol in 4 times now with exactly the same problem to no avail. I understand that these Pistols are defective since many have had the same problem. Yet they continue to sell these Pistols. I frankly want my money back as I am gatvol with Security HYPERSTORE. My biggest disappointment is that I have still not received my Pistol back after 3 months and am beginning to wander whether there is not a hidden agenda. Have been to Umarex in Germany who advised me to go back to Security Hyperstore to get them to sort the problem out which they don't seem to be able. I would never recommend anyone to do any business with Security Hyperstore.
I'm really sorry that you have experienced the need to replace the O rings on multiple occasions. As you may know the air pistol has multiple parts, that requires some maintenance and will last longer if they are properly cared for.
Your model is no different - Normal wear parts viz. O-rings and seals are not covered under warrantee.
Kindly drop me a message on the Customer Care WhatsApp *** and i will gladly have a colleague save you a trip to us (within the Durban area) to further assist you with the gun maintenance - at no charge. And if its found that the gun is defective within the terms of the warrantee, we will gladly replace you.
