Worst Company to Deal with re Carport installation 2

OMW, I can’t believe what I have been through and I am sure I am not the only one. I have removed my anger from this update , but I think it’s important for me to share my story. The people that do you wrong will meet their Karma in due time.

I have dealt with 3 different Groups of Installers ( +/- 5 staff) ,their Manager , 4 admin people and managers and the Sales Person, that’s 21 people over 3 months. I know all of them by name and their extremely disappointing customer experience. There was no proper handover from Sales to the Installers - Installer Team 1 messed up and left and never came back, Installer Group 2 fixed the first team concerns and don’t finish what they needed to do - and they messed up on other areas and then Installer Team 3 didn’t fix the problems but tried to finish up the job. Damage to property was directed to an agreement that only covers the company but not the client.

So, It has been an interesting turn of events after my comment on Hello Peter on Thursday (23 /03 /2017). I was contacted by the Manager of the Installers stating that he will no longer come out on the (24/03/2017) because of my complaint on Hello Peter. Surely this is not the way one should address a client’s frustration / complaint of a job that’s hasn’t been completed. So, my turn to was the Salesman that I had done the deal with for help.

Eventually after a discussion between themselves internally that morning- (24/03/2017) , they agreed to come through and finish the work however I had to remove my complaint from Hello Peter – I guess being held hostage was part of getting the job done . I agreed with remorse - if they complete the work on the (24/03/2017) I will remove my complaint. I met the Installer Manager that morning and we went through the damage of my property , the work that’s incomplete and what needs to be finished. We agreed on all points and to meet again later on that afternoon around 3pm to check all points discuss, to do a water test re leaks and sign off all the points he agreed to sort out.

I got home to meet him at 3pm and he wasn’t around, it seemed like his guys were still busy so I waited and waited until 8pm and he didn’t pitch. His installers also didn’t finish and stated that they will have to come back the next day (25/03/2017) to sort out. The Installer Manager apologised and agreed that he will see me tomorrow (25/03/2017) with his staff to sort out what’s left. I pushed for 10am but he stated that he couldn’t meet me at that time. I waited and waited. No one pitched up, another week/weekend wasted waiting for confirmation and completion of the job.

I then contacted the Installation Manager and I stated that he didn’t keep his word to the 24th and 25th commitments as we agreed on, he apologised with a tone “like you bothering me” and agreed to sort me out in the week. I whatsapp’ed him on Monday the 27th , Tuesday the 28th no feedback on a date and time to resolve all outstanding concerns.

So, I called him on Tuesday the 28th to get clarity as to what’s happening. He asked me to stop pushing him otherwise he’s going to lie to me. I told him , I don’t want any lies I just want to know a date and time so I could manage access to my property and to let my security guard allow them in.

He started raising his voice /tone and telling me that I don’t listen and that I must (F@#k Off and he F@#king Tired of dealing me and carried on being vulgar and refuse to deal with me and asked me to deal with someone in the office ) so I put down the phone on him. I sms’d his manager at the office and the Salesman and I didn’t even get an acknowledgement re their rude staff or any form of confirmation that they would discipline him. Apparently it’s a norm to swear clients.

I couldn’t speak to him telephonically because I was shocked by the vulgar languages being used so sent him some constructive criticism on WhatsApp - telling him that he needs to go on training to be able to deal with irate clients and learn/ gain s****s to communicate properly with the correct tone.
