Ripp off

<p>These guys quote R3300 per Infrared passive, as well as R3500 labor to install it. The sales guy, Jaco, promised that they only install the best on the market. Pet-friendly double beam the works. I showed him one of my current infrared passives (bought for about R1200) and he assured me that they use far better products. The infrared passive they came to install, is the cheapest on the market and sells for R155 online. </p> <p>Spoke to the sales guy, Jaco, about this and his response were: "We sold you a solution, not a product". After speaking to the owner he says that they accidentally picked the wrong product, due to stock shortage. He gave me an R500 discount, still, charging R2800 for a product that they get for less than R155.</p> <p>The guy, Andre, who did the installation could not work with my alarm system. He was constantly on the phone trying to figure it out. This is the guy that was sold at R3500 per day because he is an expert. He was going to come back to finish the installation. He still has not come back. </p> <p>The job that was quoted for is still incomplete. On my part, it was a mistake not to insist that they specify everything that we discussed. Furthermore, Andre, took the one module that he was supposed to install (ZX8) with him and it was never returned. </p> <p>They made lots of promises to justify the hight price including their outstanding and professional services. When it came to installation they missed the date they booked and they could not do the job they promised.</p> <p>Andre is a nice guy, that gets dropped in the deep end to try and sort out the stuff. The owner is also not too bad to deal with, but the biggest problem with Security Experts is the sales guy that made big promises only to end up in ******* prices and dissatisfaction. The ladies on the phone are not equipt to deal with problems and have a bad attitude towards clients.</p> <p>Be very careful and specify everything on the quote when they come to make their promises. Shop around and check out retail prices online.</p> <p>I will not allow these guys to come anywhere near any security installation of mine ever again.</p>
