Carport installation
<p>I have ordered a carport from Security Experts - PLEASE DO NOT USE THEM - they are extremly unprofesseional and full of excuses.</p> <p>On the 6th Feb 2017 I have ordered a carport from Security Experts and on the 7th Feb 2017 65% of the funds were transfered to them. According to them it would take 2 =3 weeks for delivery and installation</p> <p>On the 7th March 2017 I phoned to asked when I can expect delivery, they promised on the 9th March they would come and install - on this day nobody pitched nor phoned - I phoned them later this afternoon and asked what the situation is - they had long excuses bur promed to install on the 10th of March2017. The same thing happened on this day, no show nor phone for explanation, again I have phoned to ask what is going on, Again they had long excuses bur promed to install on the 11th of March2017. The same thing happened on this day, no show nor phone for explanation, again I have phoned to ask what is going on, Again they had long excuses bur promed to install on the 12th of March2017. This is now 4 days that we had to sit at home and wait for them to arrive - but no show - 2 days that we had to take of work and a weekend all activities on hold</p> <p>On Monday the 13th March 2017 I phoned in and lost it.. they them promisses to install on the 16th March 2017. they arrived at my premises on the 16th March at 11:45 that morning. First thing they asked me is to pay another 25% before they would start, after paying this amount they did start with the installation until 18:30 when they left unfinished with a promise to come back the next day on the 17th March 2017 to finish the work and again no show nor phone to explain why they did not come, again 2 days of work for nothing. By now I have already paid 90% of the quoted amount. Today is the 18th March 2017 and my carport is still not finished. </p> <p>They cannot give me a date to tell me when my carport would be finished. This is now a month and a half without my carport and with them sitting with 90% of my funds. Their logo or theme is "Quick and reliable" but be sure it is not the case. </p> <p>As far as I am concerned they are unproffesional and full of excusses </p> <p> </p>

24 Mar 2017, 09:38On Thuedays the 21st March the installation crew phoned me and told me that they will be coming out to finishe the installation - it was not the same crew as the original crew but at least he kept his promise - they came at 15:30 to work on the installation until 18:30, they did not finish. Stewart the crew leader told me he would return the next day to finish. He did and on Wednesday the 22nd March 2017 he came and finish the work. The work was done satifatory
He was very polite and apologetic for the delay. When he was finished he wanted me to pay them immediatly the lasr 10% of the money, did not even want to leave my premises until the funds were paid over.. I thought that was a cheak considering the time they kept me waiting for the carport. I spoke to the lady in the office and told them that my son will first come and inspect the carport and that they will receive the last amount by that evening...then the lady had the cheak to tell me to promise.. told her that my name was not Security Experts. Now the company has gotten the crew leader Stewart to phone me and ask to rewrite the review or delete the review and to say that I am a happy customer.
I am happy with the work and manner that Stewart has preformed his work. He should run the company as far as I am concerned. He was proffesional and I think the company can take a leaf out of his booklet
I am happy that the carport is finished but definitaly not a happy customer. The company did not once phoned to apologize, same as not once to phone and tel me that they will not be coming.
I think to get the Stewart, the crew leader to ask for this just also shows what tipe of company are they. I still would not recommend them to anybody to use. They are totaly unprofessional
