Call out fee

Have to complain about a enormous call out fee demanded by Securitas. I had a problem with the alarm battery at my home, and requested assistance. Called them earlier during office hours, assistance only arrived later, and only came after hours. A new battery was replaced at a cost of less than R300. Technician then also added a call out fee of around R900. I questioned that, he said it's for after hours services. I said the call was already made earlier that day, that he'd been late. He changed it to R450 - apparently the office hours fee. But even that seems ridiculous. It is way more than the cost of the product installed - and even beats my monthly membership of R417. Thought that kind of assistance with security issues was what I paid for, otherwise I would've phoned my own technician at a cheaper rate. Their visibility in my area has also notably declined in the past year, I'm afraid. Have always been impressed with their quick response time on the few occasions that I called them. But this call out fee is not on - R450 or R900 every time I need technical assistance on my alarm from them? No thanks.
