Beware of SecuriCom a.k.a JJ 'Frans' Olivier Electric Fencing

Recent (2018) voice recordings of face-to-face meetings with Frans Olivier of JJF 'FRANS' OLIVIER ELECTRIC FENCING a.k.a 'SECURICOM' on the WEST RAND, prove that Olivier is an unlicensed electric fence installer, operating *******ly (claims he always works under 'Kobus' who is supposed to be licensed but 'can't remember his surname', making it impossible to check on Dept. of Labour list of licensed installers - 'Kobus' probably doesn't even exist), makes promises he doesn't keep, doesn't complete his work, makes endless excuses about why he takes ages to return to fix problems, charges for materials he doesn't use on the job, tries to charge for certificate of compliance that should be provided once job has been completed, has been shown to be *********** by a licensed installer, lies about employer claiming he wasn't paid in full despite evidence to the contrary, plays 'dumb' that he doesn't know what a receipt is and most revealing of all is that he refuses to provide his physical address so that the sheriff of the court cannot find him to serve a summons. Claims he lives on a farm in an area in Magaliesburg that has 'no street numbers' etc. but when given a pen and asked to pinpoint his residence/ workshop on a Google aerial map of area, he threw the pen onto the floor, stormed out and drove off. He was never seen again. Are those the actions of a hardworking and honest man? I don't think so.

Olivier is a member of the 'bakkie brigade' - a solo operator with a truck out to take advantage of unsuspecting members of the public. He was experienced as sly, dishonest, evasive and ************.

Moral of the story: When it comes to electric fence installation, NEVER employ a contractor that won't give you a detailed physical address (and check it out), ALWAYS ensure that he is licensed with the Dept. of Labour, ALWAYS check references (in person) and ALWAYS get a registered contractor to check the work afterwards.
