Secure Projects PE: Electric Fencing - Do not trust them

If it was possible I would give 0 stars. On the 12th of Feb 2021 my husband paid a 70% deposit for the installation of an electric fence. There are 2 people listed on their Facebook page: Karen and Jonathan. Karen has never rep**** to me. I have phoned her, sent her messages and sent her emails and she has not responded. She answered the phone once and promptly told me that it was Jonathan I had to speak to. When I got hold of Jonathan he told me that Karen is the owner and that she is the one in charge. In the 10 weeks since we paid he has given me so many different excuses as to why the fencing wasn't done. The first one I was told was that there would be a delay due to Jonathan getting COVID, which I totally understood and gave them the extension. After that, it was almost impossible to get any information or communication. When I did get hold of Jonathan, there was always another reason why it couldn't be done, either relating to COVID or that he was busy with other contracts. I then gave the company until the end of March to either install the fence or give me a refund. Neither of which was done. Karen continued ignoring me and Jonathan kept promising me that it would get sorted, there was always another excuse. Eventually, I had to go to the police, after which I got R3000 back. Since that payment, I have had no communication from either of them, even though they still owe me R4000. I had to hire someone else to do the electric fence. I do not like writing reviews but I do not want this to happen to anyone else.
